Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions and Refund Policy govern the purchase and booking of Russian language lessons and lesson packages provided by Russian Lessons with Anastasiia (“I,” “me,” “my”). By purchasing, booking, or attending lessons, you (“student,” “you”) agree to these terms.

1. Services

We offer:

  • Individual lessons and consultations are booked one at a time

  • Lesson packages that may include 3-month or 6-month usage windows (“Packages”)

Lesson duration, format (online or in person), and scheduling details are confirmed at the time of booking.

2. Booking and Payment

  • Payment is required to confirm an individual lesson or a package.

  • Prices, lesson counts, and package expiration dates are communicated at purchase or included in your invoice or booking confirmation.

3. Scheduling, Rescheduling, and Cancellations

3.1 Individual Lessons and Consultations

  • You may cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time.

  • If you cancel or reschedule less than 48 hours before the scheduled start time, the lesson is non-refundable and is treated as used.

3.2 3-month package

  • The package is valid for 3 months from the start date stated in your confirmation (“Expiration Date”).

  • You may cancel or reschedule 1 lesson in the package without any questions asked, even if it is within 48 hours of the start time.

  • Any additional cancellations or reschedules inside 48 hours beyond that 1 lesson are non-refundable and treated as used, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

3.3 6-month package

  • The package is valid for 6 months from the start date stated in your confirmation (“Expiration Date”).

  • You may cancel or reschedule 2 lessons in the package without any questions asked, even if within 48 hours of the start time.

  • Any additional cancellations or reschedules inside 48 hours beyond those 2 lessons are non-refundable and treated as used, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

3.4 Rescheduled lessons and expiration rules for packages

  • For both 3-month and 6-month packages, all lessons must be taken before the Expiration Date.

  • If you use your no-questions-asked reschedules, the rescheduled lessons must be booked and completed within 2 weeks after the Expiration Date.

  • Lessons not used by the Expiration Date are not redeemable and not refundable.

4. No Shows and Late Arrivals

  • If you do not attend a scheduled lesson or join more than 15 minutes late, the lesson may be treated as a no-show and counted as used, at my discretion.

  • If you are late but the lesson proceeds, the lesson may still end at the originally scheduled end time.

5. Refund Policy

5.1 Individual lessons

  • Refunds are available only when you cancel at least 48 hours in advance.

  • Cancellations inside 48 hours are non-refundable.

5.2 Packages

  • Package lessons are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by law.

  • Unused lessons remaining after the Expiration Date are not refundable and not redeemable.

  • If we cancel a lesson and cannot reschedule it before your Expiration Date, we will either (a) extend your Expiration Date for that lesson or (b) refund or credit that specific lesson, at our discretion.

6. Instructor Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • If I need to reschedule, I will provide notice as early as possible.

  • If I cancel and you prefer not to reschedule, you may choose a refund or credit for that lesson.

7. Student Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact information

  • Join sessions on time with the required materials and a stable internet connection for online lessons

  • Communicate scheduling changes through the agreed booking channel

8. Conduct

I aim to keep lessons respectful and productive. I may pause or end a lesson due to harassment, unsafe behavior, or repeated disruptions. In such cases, the lesson may be counted as used and remain non-refundable.

9. Intellectual Property

All lesson materials provided by us, including slides, exercises, recordings we create, and documents, are for your personal use only. You may not reproduce, share, resell, or distribute them without written permission.

10. Recordings

  • You may not record lessons without our prior written consent.

  • If we record for teaching purposes, I will request your consent in advance and explain how the recording will be used.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses. My total liability for any claim related to lessons is limited to the amount you paid for the lesson or package in question.

12. Changes to These Terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase unless required by law.
